LEAD THE CHANGE
Our world is changing quickly. Technology advancements, Covid-19, and safety concerns are topping the headlines. Our children’s education is being altered on all sides. Something has to be done for the children and their future.
Meet Rocky Rhodes
I am very happy to meet you and yes, Rocky (Rockne) Rhodes is my real name. I grew up on Vashon Island next to Seattle, Washington. The island was a safe place where kids could run around and be safe. Parents looked out for all the children and sent us home before dark. I wanted that environment for my kids, which is why we moved to Simi Valley.
Meet RockyWe Need A Complex Problem Solver
I bring a calm and friendly leadership style to problem solving. I am getting into this race because I believe that my experience will shine a different light and perspective on how to best move the school district forward.
International Perspective On Community Problems
To us, our problems seem huge. They are right in front of us and they affect our lives. But we all have had the experience of stepping back and viewing our problems in a different light, making our problems seem smaller; less important; workable.
Service To Others
There comes a time in life when you are called to serve in a deeply personal way.

In these very tough times in education and our most precious asset, our children suffering during the pandemic, it’s more important now than ever before to have effective leadership. Rocky will be the best parent/student advocate to guide our great school district to new heights and assure our children get a quality education.
Rocky is the type of person that one is immediately impressed with and will bring both his business sense and compassion to Our Great Simi Valley School Board.
Rocky Rhodes is a communicator, team builder and problem solver having designed solutions for complex problems around the world. He is exactly what the students, parents, and teacher need for the Simi Valley Unified School District....especially now.

I am happy to endorse Rocky Rhodes for Simi Valley Unified School District seat #C. He understands the needs of working closely with the school district and the Recreation And Parks Board to further the understanding of our students of environmental efforts and an appreciation of the recreational facilities in our community.
